Rained out
Date: 2007-09-10
This tournament in Arkansas was an inaugural tournament. People there were very nice and the golf course was beautiful. Unfortunately, instead of playing golf, it was raining so hard that we were almost swimming on the golf course. We ended up only finishing one round and became an non-official tournament. It was very nice for the tournament committee to still give out partial prize money for the players.
Teresa Lu played very well, congradulation to her!
Go Sherri!
Date: 2007-08-27
My flight was cancelled from Chicago to Springfield, Il, so I met up with Sherri Steinhauer and she gave me a ride there instead. Sherri was such a nice person and I enjoyed our conversation. Sherri ended up winning the whole tournament. When she made her last putt on the 72nd hole from off the green, I ran up to her and congraduate her. It appeared that I was even more emotional than Sherri! P.S. I still owe her a dinner.
Football
Date: 2007-08-21
Since I was very weak, I did not go out to practice today. Instead, I went to Gary's football practice. I tried on the football helmet too!
I love Portland and enjoy spending time the people there. The golf course is also in great shape.
Canadian Open
Date: 2007-08-20
Edmonton is one of the most beautiful city I have ever visited. People there are very nice and the golf course is in a great shape. I play well this week despite my fever. As soon as the tournament ends, my fever comes back again. :( --another day off :)
Just a little fever
Date: 2007-08-15
Before our trip to Canada, I was getting a fever. I could not get out of bed to pack. My body aches. But fortunately my bags were delay and I got a day to rest up in Canada.
British Open
Date: 2007-08-06
It's the first time Women's British Open was played at the historic St. Andrews Golf Course. It's such an honor for me to be able to participate in this tournament. Everywhere that we visit on and off the golf course has a profound sense of history and deepness to it. Although playing links course is not my forte, it's very fun to watch Lorena wins her first major. I really like the way she handles herself this week and the confidence she has. It was as if she knew she was going to win the tournament on the first tee. It definitely validates her position of the best female golfer.
Where do I come from?
Date: 2007-08-02
This week I am in Scottland for the British Open. The committee could not decide how they should announce where I come from. They first called us "Province of China", then they later announced "Taiwan" on the tee. They also put up three flags to represent us: China, Taiwan ROC, and the Olympic flag...
Offering help

I met two junior players, the Chau brothers, from Taiwan taking lesson from the Butch Harmon School. I was very happy to see the growth of golf in Taiwan. I will try my best to help all the Chinese junior golfers. Just write me.
After taking lessons at the Butch Harmon School for the last few months, Butch finally got a chance to give me a quick lesson. Butch is such a nice person and he definitely gave me some valuable advice. Hopefully I will get to see him more often.
Match Play
Date: 2007-07-23
This is my first time to play in this exciting match play event. I played very well throughout the week.
I had a great time playing the 4th round match with my buddy Ai Miyazato. Unfortunately I did not move on
but it was nice to see her playing well and almost win the tournament. Hopefully we could play together
in the future and do well together.
Caddy Swap!
Date: 2007-07-15
Rochester, NY. This week I switched caddie with my friend Patricia Lebouc. Her caddie, who is her husband, used to be a tour player at the European Tour. Even though I had to learn his way of caddying, switching caddies
gave me a refreshing feeling ( I think Patricia felt the same way too!). I believe sometime you have to
jump out of the box to realize some new things in your life.
US Open
Date: 2007-07-02
I went to North Carolina to play the U.S. Open. This is one of my best weeks so far at the LPGA Tour. I got so many supportors followed me this whole week and I really appreciate their support. It's also an emotional week because there were some little mistakes that I could easily avoid (especially last hole), at the same time,
it's the biggest check I have made so far. This kind of excitement made me feel that I am getting to a whole new level. This week definitely motivates me to become stronger and more mature mentally to wait for another opportunity to come.
Mystere
Date: 2007-04-18
My mom is going back to Taiwan very soon, so we are planning to go see Mystere before her departure.
I remember the last time I saw a show was before I became a resident of Las Vegas. My brother-in-law took
my whole family to see a show while I was playing a tournament there. The show showcased all the world top gymists and dancers making amazing movements with orchastra and singers playing spectacular musics. Such kind of coordination made me very emotional and appreciate their
artistry.
Ginn Open-weather delay on Monday?!
Date: 2007-04-16
On my way home from Orlando, the weather was terrible and all the flights were cancelled. The airline
could not get my luggage out from the check in area and I had to
stay in hotel nearby the airport without my essentials and had to rent a car for an extra day.
It was very unfortunate because I already booked tickets to see a Vegas show, Mystere, with my mother
the next day which I had to postpone.
So I called my good friend Ai Miyazato to see if she was stranded at the airport like me, she told me
she was going to Disneyworld and taking a day off to do some sightseeing. Definitely admired her ability to
find tranquility admist of all the media attention! I guess I will sleep in until my next flight.
Injuried :(

It's my first time playing at the Kraft Nabisco Championship, I am very excited about the opportunity. The collarbone is starting to get swallowed and I felt quite a bit a pain. Felt sorry to all my fans that want to come see me on the weekend...
Phoenix
Date: 2007-03-25
I am in Phoenix playing Safeway International. Made the cut and felt like my game is going to the right direction. However, I have been bothered by some soreness in my collarbone. Hopefully it won't affect my game next week at the Major. Want to give a shout out to George, Ginger, David and Margaret for their hospitality. I really appreciate your support.
No visa for master card!
Date: 2007-03-05
I couldn't get a visa to go to Mexico to play in the Master Card Classic. Hopefully I will make the next tournament in Mexico...
working on my fitness
Date: 2007-02-28
Since I am not going to Mexico. I started the work out program with Striker Fitness in Henderson, NV. They are awesome.
bad break
Date: 2007-02-26
I liked the two courses I played in Hawaii. Even though I missed the cut on both, I felt like I played well and hopefully I will catch some good breaks next time.
almost 100k!
Date: 2007-01-21
This off-season I had a very good training with my new coach. I felt very positive about my game and felt ready to this new season. We finished 7th in the World Cup. We had a great finish on the last day. The last hole, we were told after the tournament that my playing partner, Yu Ping, and I would have received 100K each if we both made eagle on the par 5 18th. Fully knowing how much steak this hole had, my caddie Robinson intentionally held back this information so we could just play our game. Both my Yu Ping and I got on the green in two but Yu Ping missed the eagle putt by an inch short while I made mine. Talk about putting for big dough!!!
New season
Date: 2007-01-10
I am going to represent Taiwan for the second time to play Women's World Cup in Sun City, South Africa. It's a great pleasure to play in the tournament. Unfortunately, we could not find sponsor to provide uniform for us. But we will try our best to play good for Taiwan!
Thanks for visiting
